Responsibilities :
Should have sound knowledge of planning in the mfg of valves, pipe fittings, piping
Should have knowledge of materials.
Should be able to plan for the reqirement of raw materials required for production.
Should have knowledge of casting, forging.
Should plan for the consumption of raw material on the shop floor
Should advice the production manager the process of flow of raw materials for production
Should be able to deal with Third Party inspection agencies
Should be able to interpret, assimilate and execute information from Drawings
Should have prior experience of interacting with Purchase depts
Should be able to meet tight delivery schedules
Should monitor the employees working under him, and delegate the work appropriately
Work with HR dept to identify areas of improvement in employees.
