Responsibilities:
** To perform inspection and reporting activities relating to welding/rotating equipment and pump machine issues in construction, and be responsible for all quality levels of field work.
** Verify that incoming materials meet the numbers delivered, size/dimension, and chemical content for tolerance
** Acts as an internal independent party for the verification of quality welds and ensure that incoming materials match specifications.
** Inspection at vendors' shop facilities and work-sites on fabricated pipes, steel structures, blasting, painting works, galvanizing or other installation works as per ASME and ANSI codes, including verification of tests at premises.
** Check for weld joint preparations, fit-up alignment, dimensional tolerances, and visual checks on welds
** Liaise with NDT sub-contractors on radiography tests, etc.
View and interpret radiograph films before review by client's inspectors.
** Follow-up on corrective action on non-conforming products.
** Prepare and compile inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and other quality-related reports.
** Monitor welders' performance and the welding procedures to check for compliance.
** Witness and verify the welding procedures' qualification tests and welders' performance qualification tests.
** Must have good exposure and sound technical knowledge with respect to equipment areas.

Requirements:
All candidates must fulfill the following core requirements:
Degree of the Bachelor of Science in any Engineering discipline (i.e. Mechanical/Civil/Industrial).
5 years experience in the capacity of a QC Inspector, in a Oil/Gas industry.
Willing to be stationed in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, for a period of minimally 2 years.
Demonstrated working knowledge of codes as required by the Purchase Order, such as ASME Section 1, V, VIII, and IX, ANSI B31.3, 31.4, and 31.8, NACE, API 620/650, and AWS D1.1.
Ability to test equipment, including but not limited to Positive Material Identification test equipment required for the inspection of mechanical commodities, that are not limited to pipes, piping, valves, structural shell and fasteners.
Ability to verify the heat treatment parameters to approval heat treatment procedures.
