Applications are invited for the post of Part time Specialist for the ESI (MB) Scheme hospitals of West Bengal for a period of one (01) yr or till the joining of regular Specialist whichever is earlier. The numbers of vacancies are as under :-

Honorarium :
a) Rs 40,000/- per month for two sessions per day x 5 days in a week. Duration of each session is two (02) hours.
b) For extra session of two hours – Rs 1000/-
c) On giving undertaking to be available for emergency call duty after the schedule timings – Rs 8000/- per month.

Essential Qualification :-
1. A recognized Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule of Part II of third schedule(other than licentiate qualification) to the Medical Council Act,1956.Holders of educational qualification included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956.
2. Post Graduate qualification in the requisite speciality.
3. Minimum work experience in a responsible position connected with the speciality for a period of :-
a) 3 years in case of P.G. degree holders.
b) 5 years in case of P.G. Diploma holders.
c) Language Test : - Candidate shall have passed middle level examination in official language of West Bengal State (i.e. Bengali).

Note : Work experience after obtaining the PG degree/diploma will be reckoned as on 15.06.2011.
