Application in prescribed form is invited for filling up of the following temporary posts, which are likely to continue.

Name of post : Assistant Professor in Pharmacy.
i) Pharmaceutics - 3 (SC-1,OBC-1&UR-1)
ii) Pharmacology -2 (ST-1 &UR-1)
iii) Pharmacognosy -2 (UR-2)
iv)Pharmachemistry-4 (UR-4)

Educational Qualification Required :
Essential Qualification :
(i)Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in appropriate specialisation from recognized University.
(ii) Registration with any of the State Pharmacy Council in India.
Desirable : Ph.D in Pharmacy from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 + GP 6000

Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years on 17.06.2011

The filled in application duly authenticated by the candidate should reach the Dean, Mother Theresa Post-Graduate & Research Institute of Health Sciences, Indira nagar, Gorimedu, Puducherry- 605006 on or before 17.06.2011(Friday) by 05.00 PM along with a demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.125/- for SC/ST) drawn on any nationalised bank in favour of The Registrar, MTPG&RIHS, payable at Puducherry. The application of the in-service candidates should be routed through the employer and advance copies are not entitled. Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date and time will be summarily rejected.

2. The candidates should produce the required claim of reservation certificate issued by an officer of the Revenue department not below the rank of Deputy Tahsildar obtained on or after 16.01.2011. The above mentioned posts are to be filled on all India Basis.

3. Recruitment will be done by drawl of Merit List, based on the marks obtained in the relevant subject and performance made in the Interview.
