Applications are invited for the following posts at Directorate of Groundnut Research under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
1. Stenographer (English), Gr.III : One Post (reserved for ST)
Educational Qualification : Matriculation (S.S.C) or its equivalent
Professional Efficiency :
Passing examination of shorthand and typewriting in English conducted by the Central/ State Board of Technical Education. The candidates will be given one dictation test in English at 80 word per minute for 10 minutes. The candidates will be required to transcribe the matter in 30 minutes.
Desirable : Knowledge of Hindi Stenographic work/ MS Office (Computer), English and Hindi
Pay Band : Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400
Age : 18-30 years. Maximum age limit is 45 years for ICAR employees
General Instructions :
The prescribed qualifications are minimum and do not entitle candidates to be called for test/interview. Only short listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
The post is non-government under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research which will be governed by New Pension Scheme introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004 mutatis mutandis and as amended from time to time.
A latest passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer may be affixed on the application.
Crucial date for determining the age limit of candidate will be the closing date of receipt of application.
Candidates in service of the Central/State Govt/Undertaking/ Autonomous bodies etc should apply through proper channel.
TA is admissible for test/interview as per rules.
Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
Applications should be made on plain paper giving complete bio-data as per the proforma and supported by attested copies of the certificates of qualification, caste certificate and experience certificate. Application form is available to the website www.nrcg.res.in

No. 5, Ivenagar Road, Junagadh-362 001, Gujarat on or before 20.06.2011(04.00 p.m.). Application received after due date for any reasons including postal delays will not be considered.
