- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Verify & Ensure All Applicable document, Application is up to date with latest
Edition, revision.
- Verification of Material traceability like (Material specification, Heat No, Manufacture mark or Mark of TPI IF Require).
- Coordinate with store & purchase department in receiving inspection of all project material and stock material including plates, pipes, pipe fitting, valves
and welding consumables.
- Review material test certificate as per code like (ASME sec II A, B, C).
- Ensure correct methods are applied in cutting & machining Responsible in visual, dimension, toleransible, preparation, fit up & alignment are in accordance with approved drawing.
- Dimensional accuracy must be checked after welding also with client / representative and consequently to prepare necessary document.
- Co-ordination with clients & third party like BVI, RIL, TUV, Tata project ltd.
- Verification of piping spools & joint fit-up as per client approved drawing & code standard.
- Verification of final box – up of piping as per project requirement.
- Circuit identification on P & ID’S for pressure test and prepare Test Packages.
- Interpretation of radiographic films.
- Responsible in visual & dimension on all piping, structure & mechanical works as per approved drawing, code standard & client specification.
- Taking care of stage vise inspection with help of inspector.
- Inspect lines in accordance with P & ID & isometric drawing for mechanical clearance & issue punch list and follow-up.
- Witness pneumatic test, hydro test as per standard
- Welder qualification witness as per (ASME sec – ix).
- Conducts spot checking during welding to weld parameters.
- Prepare latest welder master list.
- Conducting weld repair & defect analysis.
- Review of QAP. WPS & PQR.
- NDT clearance as per client requirement or (ASME SEC- V).
- Erection of Equipment as per client requirement.
- Co-ordinate with other Departments, Client and sub-Contractors for the smooth functioning of QA/QC activities
- Preparation release note after dispatching.
- Maintaining relevant all document & submit to QA Department or client after completed of job.
