DESCRIPTION :

The rotation of energy meter is sensed by rotation sensor and the information is sent to the microcontroller. The information about the meter reading is displayed through LCD display and also it is sent to the PC through serial communication. From PC it is sent to the EB station’s server trough GSM system. At the server station the frequency of a particular house’s meter reading is detected through DTMF. The information from DTMF is sent to microcontroller and then to the server station’s PC through MAX232. The accurate reading value and the amount will be sent to the user’s mobile phone via SMS from server station’s PC.
