Eligibility qualification & experience :
1. Professor other than Architecture, Law and Humanities & Social Sciences - An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with Ph.D degree and First Class Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline; 10 years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which three years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.
2. Associate Professor other than Architecture, Law and Humanities & Social Sciences - Ph.D Degree with First Class Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with eight years of experience of Teaching/ Industry/ Research out of which three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent excluding the period exclusively spent for obtaining the Research Degree is required. The candidates should have also made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality publication, contribution to educational innovation, design or new courses curricula.
3. Assistant Professor in the disciplines of Law, Humanities and Social Sciences - Good Academic record with a first class at Master’s degree level or an equivalent grade in the relevant discipline from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Regarding NET, UGC guidelines shall be followed wherever applicable from time to time.

NOTE :
- The number of posts may vary at the discretion of the University. Applicants not found suitable for the position applied, may be considered for the next lower position, if available.
- The persons already in employment in Govt. Deptts./ Autonomous Bodies/ Universities should apply through proper channel.
- Relaxation of 5% marks shall be awarded for SC/ ST candidates.
- Placement of faculty in higher Academic Grade Pays shall be governed by the UGC Regulations/ guidelines.
- Reservation for posts at Asstt. Professor level shall be as per Govt. of NCT of Delhi policies.

Architecture for me__________________________________________________________________________
Architecture has been defined in many ways. For me architecture is a static and creative art. It is the procedure associated with the conception of an idea and its realization in terms of building materials and building construction. But still there is difference between building and architecture. Architecture is represented by a building which meets all the logical functions satisfactorily while maintaining soundness in construction and beautiful composition. Separate from the design process, architecture is also experienced through the senses, which therefore gives rise to aural, visual, olfactory and tactile architecture. Thus singing, dancing, painting, weaving etc. are also considered as architecture. From eating to walking every little posture of body reflects architecture. It simply implies to all micro to macro level of activities concerned to every built mass. Architecture is something which is consorted with some innovative works and presented in some artistic mode. In all architecture is mother of all arts.

I want to work in Ahmedabad since the people, the environment and more importantly the architecture has inspired me a lot. More importantly I really want to be a part in the growth of this growing and developing state.
