Applications are invited for appointment for the following post :-

Technical Assistant ‘A’ (Electronics) : 1 post – Reserved for OBC in the Pay Band –P.B.-1: `. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of `. 2,800/- plus usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees.

Essential Qualification & Experience – 3 years diploma course in Electronics from a duly recognised institution with one year relevant experience. Degree holders need not apply.

Application forms may also be collected from this office during the normal working hours. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.

Job requirement : Development of models and exhibits and/or major repair, operation and maintenance of exhibits/equipment/installations; costing and estimating for exhibits/works, maintenance of records; supervision over subordinate staff, design and drawing of exhibits, model, equipments, installations; any other work entrusted by superiors from time to time.

Record shows that the Tagores purchased it from Mirza Abdul Karim in 1898. Meera Devi, the fourth of Rabindranath Tagore’s five children, spent a large part of her childhood in this house.
