RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (ANIMAL TRANSPORT)
Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for filling up the following vacancies on temporary basis likely to be permanent, for the post of Constables (Animal Transport) in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. The post has All India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules. The last date of receipt of application is 23.06.2011 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir state, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep for which last date is 30.06.2011.

PAY SCALE AND OTHER ALLOWANCES : PB-I, Pay Scale- Rs. 5200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.
AGE : – Between 18 to 25 Years
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
a) Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board.
b) 8th class pass from a recognized Institution for S.T. Category candidates belonging to Mizoram State.
HOW TO APPLY AND BY WHICH DATE :-
Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘I’ and Annexure ‘II’. The application should either be type written or neatly hand written on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed & duly attested by Gazetted Officer along with application fee, attested copies of the testimonials as in para-8 to the “Inspector General (North West) Frontier, ITBP, PO-Seema Nagar, (Near Airport) Chandigarh (UT) -160003”, on or before the prescribed last date i.e. 23.06.2011 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of HP, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 30.06.2011.
APPLICATION FEE : The candidates belonging to General and OBC category will be required to pay Rs. 50/- (Non refundable) as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp(CRFS)/IPO/ Bank Draft in favour of “ Inspector General (North West) Frontier, ITBP, PO-Seema Nagar, Chandigarh(UT) PAYABLE AT SBI, AFS Chandigarh, Code No- 1495. The candidates opting for CRFS should affix the CRFS at specified space in application form and get cancelled as well.
ENCLOSURES REQUIRED TO BE ATTACHED WITH APPLICATION :-
Attested copies of following be attached with the application form :-
(i) Educational Certificate.
(ii) Date of birth certificate (Matriculation or 10th /8th Class pass (as applicable).
(iii) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe certificate, as Annexure-‘III’ and OBC Certificate, as Annexure-IV (if belonging to any of these categories) issued by an authority not lower than Tehsildar or SDM. Note:- OBC certificate must be in prescribed proforma as attached at Annexure –‘IV’.
(iv) Domicile Certificate issued by local revenue authorities for verification of citizenship.
(v) Discharge certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
(vi) Two latest passport size photographs. (one pasted on application form and another on admit card duly attested)
(vii) IPO/Bank Draft of Rs.50/- (for General and OBC Candidates only).
(viii) Two self addressed envelopes of 4”X9” size with Rs. 5/- postage stamps affixed on each envelope.
(ix) Certificate as per Annexure ‘V’ for claiming relaxation in height & chest (if applicable)
(x) Envelope containing Application must be superscribed in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (AT) IN ITBP”.

- Basically I am Police Officer with the rank of Inspector Trained and inducted into CRPF.
- At present working as Company Commander, Commanding 140 personnel, deployed on terrorist infested/tough terrain i.e. on International Borders of Kupwara(J&K) for the last Four year.
- Work exposure during my 06 years service as Sub Inspector (2004-2007), Inspector (2007-till date)and Key Contributions:
- Dealt with advanced systems of Access Control in location as well as in tours, which regulates men/ material with commitment at zero level error management.
- Conducted various types of Anti Sabotage Checks of locations, public meeting places, function places, carcade, air crafts, vessels, materials on operational requirements, during functions& road shows.
- Paid pivotal role in conduction of mock rehearsals drills, for countering contingencies like hijacking, bold/ fidayeen attack, hostage release, hostile/adverse situations, NBC attacks and carcade/physical harms.
- Effectively conducted regular/ surprise checks of Anti Sabotage Checks with experts, scientific gadgets and dog squads, adverse situation management, various protective/preventive security drills, fleet management, martial arts training with physical & mental toughness, fire fighting and sharp shooting.
