It is proposed to prepare a panel of suitable candidates for filling up post of Assessors in the Vansadhara Water Disputes Tribunal (VWDT) on deputation (including short term contract ) or re-employment basis. The terms and conditions of appointment will be regulated in accordance with Inter-State Water Disputes Rule, 1959 as amended from time to time. Applications in prescribed proforma be forwarded by the Organizations/ Departments concerned to the Deputy Commissioner (BM), Ministry of Water Resources, Room No. 428-B,Shram Shakti Bhawan, Rafi Marg, New Delhi – 110 001 within 60 days from the date of issue of the Circular in the Employment News. Candidates desirous of being considered on re-employment basis may send their application directly on aforesaid address.

Eligibility Criteria for the post : Officers under the Central/State Governments/PSUs/Autonomous/Semi Govt./Statutory Organizations etc. holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/deptt. of With 3 years regular service in the parent cadre/Deptt. in the pay scale of PB-4 Rs. 37,400-67,000/-+ GP Rs. 10,000/-(or equivalent in pre-revised scale) and
Possessing the following educational qualification and experience :
i) B.E. (Civil) from a recognized University or equivalent
ii) Having at least fifteen years’ experience in irrigation projects/Water management/inter-State water disputes.
Note : Period of deputation/re-employment/short term Contract shall be for one year or till the life of the VWDT or till further orders whichever is earliest, but shall not ordinarily exceed for more than 3 years from the date of joining. The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation/short term contract shall not be exceeding 56 years.
