Job Summary : Responsible for the execution of the assigned residential and commercial projects.
Person Specification : Qualification: Should be a first class B.E (civil) graduate. Any other additional civil engineering courses are desirable.
Experience : Should possess 5-8 years experience in construction industry.
Abilities : Knowledge of design processes/methods and ability to contribute to the design of the project.
Knowledge of state-of-the-art technical skills in materials/methods for all applicable engineering, architectural, and construction areas.
Good construction management, time management, project management skills..
Ability to review project work performed by other engineers.
Ability to assist GM-Projects in reviewing quantities, costs, accuracy of specification, completeness.
Ability to deal/communicate effectively with others.
Key Areas : Preparation of Construction Schedule.
Delegation of work to subordinates.
Ensuring that all the required materials are indented and made available on time.
Indenting of material requirement on monthly basis.
Ensuring safety of men & materials at site.
Stock maintenance at site.
Co-ordination with External facilitator where assigned.
Ensuring that all the construction activity is going on as per the schedule.
Checking & verification of bills submitted by the contractors.
Co-ordination between various agencies working at site, Architects & consultants.

Ability to apply basic professional knowledge to the design of entry level site works and construction management.
Ability to perform on-site works as per the schedule, interprets drawings, specifications, standards, and carries out field engineering work.

Follow up with drawings and material suppliers
Preparing weekly progress reports, material requisition indents and summary of material reports.
