1. T-3 (Field/Farm Technician) : One post (Reserved for OBC).
2. Scale of Pay Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay Rs. 2800/-.
3. Educational qualifications-
Essential : B.Sc (Agri.)/B.V.Sc & A.H.
Desirable : Diploma in Vety. Livestock Development/Two years experience of working on large Cattle/Buffalo farms.
4. Age limit – 18-30 years as on the last date for receipt of applications. (Relaxable to OBC candidates and ICAR employees as per rules).

About us :
Transfer of erstwhile Progeny Testing Bull Farm, Hisar from the State Government, Haryana to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research in the year 1985, paved the way for the establishment of the Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) at Hisar. Available infrastructure, land, assets and buffalo herd of the Progeny Testing Bull Farm were transferred to the CIRB and the Institute started functioning from 1st February 1985 at Hisar. The Institute has approved cadre strength of 44 scientists of which 23 scientists are in position, including at the sub-campus.
