Applications are invited in duplicate from eligible candidates for filling up one post of Director, Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies (CIHCS), Dahung, West Kameng Distt. Arunachal Pradesh, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. The eligibility criteria and other details are given below. Age limit for direct recruits : Not exceeding 50 years
Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruits :
Essential :
i. Doctorate Degree in Buddhist Studies or Sociology or Ancient Indian History and Culture or Social Anthropology from a recognised university.
ii. Evidence of outstanding research and published works in national/inter-national journals of repute or as well acknowledged books in the concerned area of specialisation.
iii. 10 (ten) years teaching experience at the Degree level at a recognised University/Institution in the area of specialisation.
iv. At least 7 (seven) years administrative experience in a responsible senior position at a recognised University/ Institution.
v. Knowledge and fluency in written and spoken Hindi and English languages.
Desirable :
Academic, research and professional experience related to Himalayan Culture.
Duties and Responsibilities :
i. Chief Executive and Administrative Officer of the Institute.
ii. Member Secretary of the Society as well as Board of Governors of the Institute.
iii. Custodian of the funds and securities of the Institute.
Place of duty : Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies (CIHCS), Dahung, West Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh.
