JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

** Understand our clients’ business needs and develop tailored solutions
** Interview client contacts to validate data, collect qualitative information and gain client insight
** Lay out an analytical framework and plan to execute using appropriate tools
** Analyze, manipulate, cleanse and validate data from a variety of data sources and platforms
** Apply analytical and statistical expertise to critical business problems faced in the market
** Interpret and put into context analytical findings for impacted business stakeholders
** Develop recommendations and quantify their impact
** Present work to internal and client teams in terms of actionable insights
** Use PowerPoint to document project findings, business requirements and data dictionaries

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

Common to Both Senior Business Analyst & Business Analyst

** Strong analytical skills, combined with working knowledge of developing and understanding statistical, optimization or other types of models and tools used to solve market facing business problems
** Experience working with statistical tools preferred (e.g., SPSS, SAS, JMP, R, etc.)
** Ability to work independently or with little direction
** Strong oral and written communication skills
** Ability to communicate with senior management and executives
** Capable of building client relationships at all levels
** Experience in developing and delivering presentations

For Senior Business Analyst only :

** Minimum Master’s Degree or an MBA/MCA, with preference in Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Operations Research, Supply Chain or Logistics
** 3 - 5 years of relevant industry experience or background as a consultant with a top-tier firm
** Experience providing remote support for global assignments and teams
** Ability to structure, develop and interpret models
** Experience with large-scale databases preferred (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, or others) and various querying tools (e.g., SQL)
** Partner with Analysts and other team members to provide analytical rigor and technical expertise on client engagements and internal projects
** Outstanding problem-solving skills and work ethic
** Senior Analysts are consistently faced with new challenges, requiring them to utilize managerial, educational and other resources

For Business Analyst only :

** Minimum requirement is a graduation degree in Statistics / Economics / Engineering
** Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical and Pharmaceutical streams will be given preference
** 6 months to 3 years of relevant industry experience (e.g. in an Analytics company) will be preferred
** Experience in MS OFFICE tools, SQL, will be preferred
** Applicants with programming knowledge or having worked on HTML, Java, JSP, VB, Excel VBA, XML or .NET platforms can apply.
