Invites applications from Indian citizens all over India for about 258 vacant posts of Assistants to be filled up on direct recruitment basis in ICAR HQ & its Research Institutes

Number of vacancies : About 258 vacant posts across India (Vacancies are tentative and may increase/change). Vacancies presently are at ICAR HQ and its Research Institutes

Pay Band and Grade Pay :
Rs. 9300-34800 and Rs. 4600 at ICAR HQ
Rs. 9300-34800 and Rs. 4200 at Research Institutes

Educational Qualification : Graduation in any discipline

Age Limit : 20 Years to 27 Years as on 01.07.2011 (Relaxations as per existing rules)

Examination Fees :
Rs. 1000 for Online submission of Application
Rs. 1500 for Offline submission of Application

Opening date for submitting application : 17.05.2011
Last date for submitting online application : 15.06.2011 – For all parts of India as well as specified difficult/remote areas also
Last date for submitting offline application : 15.06.2011– For all parts of India 30.06.2011–For specified difficult/remote areas only
Likely date of Preliminary Examination : 11.07.2011 onwards
