Minimum Required Qualification & Experience :
(a) Posts under Sr. No.1 :
(i) Master’s degree with one year’s relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience, (ii) knowledge of office management, computer office application & secretarial practice.
(b) Posts under Sr. No.2 :
(i) Master’s degree in commerce or equivalent with one year’s accounting experience OR Bachelor’s degree in commerce/equivalent degree with three years of relevant accounting experience, (ii) knowledge of current versions of Tally & use of other accounting softwares.
(c) Posts under Sr. No. 3 :
(i) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical or Computer Science/Computer Application OR Three years Diploma in any of the above mentioned disciplines and one year of relevant experience OR B.Sc. Degree with major in Physics/Chemistry/Bio-Sciences and one year’s work experience in a laboratory/research-programme, (ii) good knowledge of computer utilization.
(d) Posts under Sr. No. 4 :
(i) Tenth standard pass, (ii) one year’s trade training with ITI certificate or equivalent in any discipline associated with Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical, Civil or Computers, (iii) relevant work experience of atleast two years.

Age Limit : for General category as on last date for receiving applications for posts under Sr No. 1 & 2 is 32 years and for posts under Sr. No. 3 & 4 is 27 years. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST & PH candidates and of 3 years for OBC candidates is allowed. Ex-servicemen and employees of IIT system upto 50 years of age can apply for positions they are qualified for.

Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government or Educational Organizations must apply through proper channel.

Candidates wishing to apply for more than one post, must use separate forms for each application and send additional Demand Draft.

Applications on prescribed form with full particulars, along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (no application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates), drawn on a nationalized Bank, in favour of IIT Gandhinagar Account, payable at Ahmedabad, and self attested copies of certificates/testimonials in support of qualification, experience and caste (in case of OBC, latest non-creamy layer certificate is essential,) etc. should reach Assistant Registrar (Admn.), IIT Gandhinagar, VGEC Campus, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad – 382424, on or before May 31, 2011.

Fulfilling minimum qualification does not entail a call for interview.
