Qualifications :
Essential : Matriculation and knowledge of computer
Professional Efficiency :
The Candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 w.p.m for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer.

1. Age Limit: 18-27 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. The upper age limit is relaxable as per the Government of India/ ICAR Rules. The upper age is also relaxable up to 45 years in case of serving regular employees of ICAR in the administrative (Ministerial) category as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
2. Copies of certificates (attested by a Gazetted Officer) in proof of age, educational and desirable qualification, experience, caste status (certificates issued by the competent authority) should be sent along with the application failing which it can not be considered.
3. Name of the post applied for should invariably be mentioned on the top of the envelope.
4. The persons already in employment should submit their application through proper channel so as to reach Project Director, Project Directorate on Poultry (ICAR), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad- 500 030 within the stipulated date.
5. Applications received after the due date for whatsoever the reason including postal delays will not be entertained.
6. This Notification is also available on the website of PDP- www.pdonpoultry.org
7. Project Director, PDP reserves the right to short-list the candidates for test/ interview, after due screening of applications.
8. Applications complete in all respects should reach the Project Director, Project Directorate on Poultry (ICAR), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad- 500 030 on or before 30-05-2011.

The Project Directorate on Poultry (PDP) is one of the constituent research institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), an autonomous multidisciplinary Research & Development Organization financially supported by Govt. of India. The Directorate was set up as a coordinating unit of All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Poultry in 1970 at Izatnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
