Filling up of the post of Presiding Officer in Employees’ Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi in the Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37400-67000 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 12000/- on deputation basis.

under Section 7D(3) of the Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, it is proposed to fill up the post of Presiding Officer in the Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37400-67000 plus Grade of Rs. 12000/- from amongst the persons who is, or has been, or is qualified to be, a judge of High Court, or a District Judge. The Presiding Officer shall be appointed for a period of 5 years or until he attains the age of 62 years whichever is earlier. The maximum age limit of the applicant should not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. Appointment will be on deputation basis. In additions, all allowances and facilities available to officers of the Central Government working in this scale, will also be available to the Presiding Officer except the Government residential accommodation. The officers, who are willing and eligible to be considered, may apply in prescribed proforma at Annexure.

It is requested that names of interested and eligible Judicial Officers along with their complete bio-data and ACRs dossiers for the last 5 years and the willingness of the officers may kindly be furnished to enable this Ministry to select suitable officers for the above mentioned post positively by 31st May, 2011. While furnishing the names, it may also be certified that no vigilance case is pending or is under contemplation against the recommended officer.
