Sahitya Akademi, an autonomous organization under Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, invites applications for the post of Publication Assistant at its Head- Office in the Pay Band-II of ` 9300-34,800 with Grade Pay ` 4200 p.m. Qualifications for the above post are given below:

Essential :
1. Graduation or equivalent qualification
2. Diploma in Printing OR Five years experience in a printing press or a publishing house or a Government undertaking concerned with book publishing
3. Knowledge of various processes of printing and book publication
4. Good knowledge of one or more languages and literatures with ability to handle literary material
5. Basic knowledge of Computer application

Age Limit : Upto 30 Years

The post is Unreserved but the preference will be given to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates.
The post is to be filled up by Direct Recruitment and those working in Govt. or semi Govt. should apply through proper channel. Incumbent may be transferred to any office of the Sahitya Akademi located anywhere in India.
