for the post of Registrar
The Harish-Chandra Research Institute is a National Institution of higher learning, devoted to high quality fundamental research, mainly in different fields of Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. It is an aided Institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The Institute rules in service matters are similar to the Central Government rules.
The Institute invites application on plain paper (A4 size), for the post of REGISTRAR, Pay in the Pay Band PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600 OR Pay Band PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700, with applicable allowances at par with the Central Government rates, payable at Allahabad. The incumbent, besides being responsible for observing all the rules and procedures, as head of administration and accounts, will have rapport with the members of the academic staff and will provide
responsive administrative support to the Director in his various efforts for development of the Institute.
QUALIFICATION :-
(1) Master’s Degree from a recognised University with atleast good Second Division, preferably with a post-graduate degree / diploma in administrative /personnel management or related area,
(2) adequate knowledge of Government of India and Autonomous Body rules and regulations, with exposure to administration, finance and accounts,
(3) Knowledge of computer applications.
EXPERIENCE :- Minimum experience of 15 years will be required in responsible administrative positions in Govt. Office/ Autonomous Body/ PSU.
(i) Those with not less than 5 years service in a position in the revised Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600 (pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.10000- 15200) or equivalent will be considered against Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600.
(ii) Those with not less than 5 years service in a position in the revised Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 + grade Pay Rs.7600 (pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.12000-16500) or equivalent shall be considered for higher Pay Band of Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700.
The experience should also include the responsibilities of organising high level administrative meetings e.g. Council / Finance Committee meetings etc., preparation of Budget, Agenda and Minutes of various meetings etc.
AGE :- Upper age limit is 55 years as on 14.06.2011.
LAST DATE :- Complete neatly typed applications enclosing latest passport size photograph together with self attested photocopies of certificates and testimonials as to proof of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience, permanent address, address for correspondence with e-mail I.D., details of certificates enclosed should reach the Director of the Institute on or before 14.06.2011.
