RECRUITMENT FOR PROJECT

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Electrical Engineering of this Institute. The positions are temporary initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Position & Salary Junior Technical Assistant (4 Post s )
Consolidated salary Rs.11000/- p.m.
Qualification B.E/M.Sc./M.Phil. Min. 1 year hands on experience in different steps in Fabrication of III-V compound based detectors.
Job Profile Need to do wafer handling, etching,profilometry,Annealing, mask aligning,SEM,TEM. Needs to handle deposition tools like e-beam deposition,thermal evaporator,substrate thinning using Lapper/polisher.

Position & Salary Sr. Technical Assistant (1 Post )
Consolidated salary Rs.14000/- p.m.
Qualification B.E/M.Sc./M.Phil. Min. 1 year experience on handling facilities like AHU, LN Plants, Chillers.
Job Profile Maintenance of LN Plant, Operation of Flip Chip Bonder, electrical maintenance of research laboratory.

Position & Salary Senior Research Assistant (1 Post )
Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m.
Qualification B.E/M.E/M.Tech/M.s. Min 2 years of experience in different steps of fabrication of FPA
Job Profile Need to do mask design,etching, deposition,DLTS etc.

Position & Salary Senior Research Scientist (Project) (1 Post )
Consolidated salary Rs.35000/- p.m.
Qualification Ph.D. Atleast 7-8 years of experience in material science in micro of nano fabrication.
Job Profile Nano fabrication of III-V semiconductor devices.

Position & Salary Project Research Engineer (1 Post )
Consolidated salary Rs.24000/- p.m.
Qualification M.Tech. Atleast 5 years of experience in photonics industry
Job Profile Need to do spectroscopy, characterisation systems like Photoluminescence, electroluminescence,I-V, Single pixel and FPA detector characterization.

The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
