Chemical Engineering
P(03-1) "Fault Detection and Diagnosis of Self Powered Neutron Detectors"
RA/JRF : (1 Post)
Eligibility : B.Tech/BE/ME/M.Tech in any engineering discipline with first class or M.Sc in Maths/Physics with first class. Interest in model based estimation techniques, statistical data analysis and numerical programming is required and experience in the same is preferred.
P(03-2) Breakup of Moving Liquid Sheets under Acoustic Excitation
RA : (1 Post)
Eligibility : This is a post-doctoral position. The candidate should have a Ph.D in Engineering, Physics or Applied Mathematics. The candidate should have a strong background in theoretical and/or computational fluid mechanics. The candidate should have published in leading international journals.

Civil Engineering
P(03-3) Field and Laboratory Tests to Evaluate Dynamic Properties of Soils
PE : (1 Post)
Eligibility : First Class or 60% marks in M.E./M.Tech or Equivalent Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or other similar engineering fields, OR, B.E/ B.Tech or Equivalent in Civil Engineering with 2 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering or other similar engineering field. It is 1 year post extendable to 3 years. The selected candidate will be given the opportunity to apply for admission into Post Graduate/ PhD program at IIT Bombay.

Computer Science & Engineering
P(03-4) High-Speed Switching Fabric for Transport Networks
SRF : (1 Post)
Eligibility : M.Tech with at least 4 years PCB, VHDL, RTL experience. Xilinx ISE, Orcad, Allegro expertise mandatory.

P(03-5) GCC Resource Center
RE : (3 Post)
Eligibility : B.E./B.Tech. in CS/IT. Must have qualified GATE in CS. Good conceptual as well as practical knowledge of compiler construction. Must have done some implementations using lex/yacc/iburg. Knowledge of GCC Internals is highly desirable.

P(03-6) Indian Language to Indian Language Machine Translation System
RA1 : (2 Post)
Eligibility : Post Graduate or equivalent. Prior experience of translation will be an advantage. Working with Judicial text before will be highly preferable. Professional certification in translation will be an advantage.

SA : (1 Post)
Eligibility : B.Tech/MCA or equivalent. The candidate should be able to assist with configuring, managing & deploying system and should be proficient in Windows, Linux and OSS. Professional certification in System administrator or with minimum one year experience in a reputed organization. Debugging and trouble shooting skills. General System Administration expertise.

RE : (2 Post)
Eligibility : M.Tech/B.Tech/BE/MCA or equivalent with good programming skills. Prior experience on Language Technology, Natural Language Processing and/or Linguistics will be an advantage. Knowledge of Marathi is highly desirable.

Eligibility : M.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering/ComputerScience/Information Technology. Candidates with B.Tech/BE in above fields with 2 years work experience can also apply. Programming ability in C/C++ is a mandatory requirement. Familiarity with error correction coding is a plus.

Eligibility : B.Arch/M.Arch with min 5 years experience in the area of alternative technologies for affordable housing.
