Educational Qualification - 3 years Full Time Diploma in Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Radio Communication / Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation / Process Control Engineering from a recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks. (Pass marks for ST Candidates)

Experience - Preferably two-years experience in relevant area. Working knowledge of computer is desirable.

Primary Duties
Perform maintenance and testing of electronic and control systems to ensure equipments are running safely, efficiently and with in manufacturer’s specifications supervise the inspection, commissioning and troubleshooting of low voltage automated control, instrumentation and computerised systems down to board level components. Maintain records of electronic and instrument maintenance performed and reviews maintenance history of indications of required system improvements. Mentor Trainee E&I technician’s best practices of system Maintenance.
General Maintenance
Evaluates equipment performance and monitoring. Determine and interprets performance data and selects equipment to be used for maximum reliability.
Inspects services, troubleshoots and repair equipment intended for services in non hazardous and hazardous areas. Also coordinates periodic testing of equipments as required.
Perform testing and validate protective equipment settings.
Perform periodic tests and maintenance of fire & gas devices and panels on the facility.
Configures ,modifies and test electronic equipment; Able to follow P&I D, logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, regulatory rules and technical manuals, Isometric drawings. Also update rig drawings as per MOC and recommends drawing changes based on work performed.
Calibrates maintains and repairs test equipment and tools.
Conducts and documents inventory and inspection of tools and parts, requisitions additional parts and supplies to maintain adequate inventory and ensures rotation of spare parts.
Keeps records of preventive and corrective maintenance organised for easy access to eliminate operational failures and downtime.
Perform all other duties and special projects as requested by management safety
Lead the ERT (Emergency Response Team) during emergency and drills giving proper instructions to team members. Also inspection and maintenance of fire fighting equipments .
