The Orissa Minerals Development Company (OMDC), part of Bird Group of Companies & subsidiary of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, and a PSU under the Ministry of Steel (Govt. of India), calls for applications from eligible Indian citizens belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories to fill up the following posts. Information to Applicants :
1. The cover should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for The Orissa Minerals Development Co. Ltd.
2. Self attested copies of all testimonials are to be attached with the application. The testimonials will be subject to verification at the time of interview.
3. Two recent passport size photographs (in colour) signed by the candidates in the reverse side should be attached with the application.
4. Submission of wrong documents/willful suppression of information may lead to cancellation of interview/appointment at any time even after joining the service.
5. Applicants working in Govt. /PSU need to submit “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” at the time of interview.
6. The Company reserves the right to accept or reject any application.

Responsibility : As Q.C. Engineer . I was responsible for –
(a) Q.C. activities : All day to day activities of quality control like in - process checking sampling, final inspection, rejection and rework analysis, planning of corrective actions on them and implementation of problem solving techniques for better utilization of a process.
(b) Customer Complaint Analysis : To receive customer complaints and find out root cause and then to plan for corrective and preventive actions for these problems.
