Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts for appointment in Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD) :-

1. Name of the post : Technical Officer-E (Mining)
Total number of posts : 01
Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mining Engineering from a Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted), with minimum 09 years of working experience in production line of a large mechanized underground metal mines/mechanized opencast mines.

2. Name of the post : Technical Officer-C (Mining)
Total number of posts : 02
Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mining Engineering from Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted)

3. Name of the post :Technical Officer-C (Chemistry)
Total number of posts : 06
Qualifications : M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization in Analytical/Inorganic/Industrial Chemistry with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

4. Name of the post : Technical Officer-C (Mechanical/Drilling)
Total number of posts : 02
Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/Automobile/Drilling Engineering from a Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

5. Name of the post : Technical Officer-C (Civil)
Total number of posts : 02
Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Civil Engineering from a Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

6. Name of the post : Technical Officer-C (Electrical)
Total number of posts : 01
Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Electrical Engineering from a Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

7. Name of the Post : Scientific Assistant-B (Electrical)
Total Number of posts : 02
Qualifications : Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

8. Name of the post : Scientific Assistant-B (Mine Survey)
Total number of posts : 02
Qualifications : Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years course after SSC) from a recognised institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and with Mines Survey Competency Certificate in metal liferous Mines (Unrestricted).

9. Name of the Post : Technician-B (Drilling)
Total Number of posts : 28
Qualifications : HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths.

10. Name of the Post : Technician-B (Electrical)
Total Number of posts : 03
Qualifications : HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths.

11. Name of the Post : Technician-B (Physics)

Qualifications : HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths.

Total Number of posts : 02 (General)
Qualifications : HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths.

14. Name of the Post : Stenographer (Grade-II)
Total Number of posts : 07 (GEN.–5, OBC–1, SC-1)
Qualifications :
(1) Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks
(2) Minimum speed of 100 WPM in English shorthand and 45 WPM in English Typing.

15. Name of the Post : Stenographer (Grade-III)
Total Number of posts : 02
Qualifications : Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks. and speed of 80 WPM in English Stenography and Typing speed in English of 30 WPM.

16. Name of the Post : Upper Division Clerk (UDC)
Total Number of posts : 09
Qualifications : A Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce of a recognised University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks

17. Name of the Post : Driver (Ordinary Grade)
Total Number of posts : 20
Qualifications : Must have passed 10th standard (SSC or equivalent) and must hold a clean and valid driving license to drive Heavy vehicles and 3 years experience in driving Light Vehicle/Heavy vehicle. Graduates need not apply. Graduates will be treated as overqualified but 12th Standard and / or Diploma holders would be acceptable.

How to apply :
1. The application should be submitted in the proforma given in the Advertisement, preferably typewritten on thick foolscap paper.
2. The application and the outer cover should be superscribed as Application for the post of __________________________________________in AMD, against the advertisement No.AMD-1/2011.
3. A recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the space provided on the right hand top corner of the application and staple an additional photograph (with name on backside) to the application.
4. The application for the post of Technical Officer/C should be accompanied by a Non-refundable crossed Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) as application fee drawn in favour of “The Pay & Accounts Officer, AMD, Hyderabad” payable at Secunderabad. SC/ST candidates, Women, Disabled Defence personnel and dependents of Defence Personnel killed in action and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the above fee. Application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be reserved for any other examination or selection in future. DD not required for other posts.
