National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Manesar, is the apex co-ordinating body for research in Neuroscience with the objective of undertaking basic research towards understanding brain structure and function in health and disease. The centre is located at Manesar, Haryana, 50 km from New Delhi. NBRC would like to recruit suitable persons for the following positions:

1. Post Code : 001 Veterinarian
Pay scale :- 15,600-39,100/- (Grade pay 5,400/-)
Method of recruitment :- Direct recruitment
Essential Qualification :- M V Sc. with 5 years experience.
Duties :- To Supervise day to day monitoring of health breading, sanitary and nutritional requirements of laboratory animals such as rats, mice, rabbits and monkeys. Persons should have requisite knowledge on care and ethical issues in handling animals besides health care and maintenance of laboratory animals.
Experience :- Post-qualification experience of 4 years in case of MVSC graduates and 6 years in case of BVSC graduates in similar position.
Age :- 35 years as on last date of the application.

2. Post Code : 002 Administrative Officer (Acad.)
Pay Scale : - 15,600-39,100/- (Grade pay 5,400/-)
Method of Recruitment : - Direct Recruitment
Essential Qualification / Experience : Any graduate level degree with consistently good academic record. Persons having 5 years of working experience in Administration or Management in an Academic / Research / Scientific Institution.
Desirable :-
1. Persons having qualification of MBA or Post Graduation will be preferred.
Age :- 35 years as on last date of the application.

3. Post Code : 003 Computer Operator / Assistant Information Technologist (Core)
Pay scale :- 5200-20,200/- (Grade pay 2800/-)
Method of Recruitment : - Direct Recruitment
Essential Qualifications / Experience :
1. Graduate in Computer Science/ Computer application/ Information Technology/ Electronics from a recognized University OR Graduate in Science with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Physics/ Mathematics/ Computer Science with one-year government recognized diploma in computer science/ computer application/ application technology.
2. Good knowledge of computer hardware/ Programming/ Networking.
Age : 30 years as on last date of the application.

General Conditions :
Candidates who are desirous of being considered for the above posts and who can be relieved immediately on selection may apply in the prescribed application form attached along with this information sheet. Application form in the prescribed application format along with the following documents must reach Administrative Officer, National Brain Research Centre, Nainwal Mode, Manesar 122050, Gurgaon by 27th May, 2011.

2. Attested copies of Certificates.
3. Application Fee (non-refundable) Rs. 100/- for General and Rs. 50/- for OBC in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “Director, NBRC” payable at Gurgaon/ Manesar. The application fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category and Women candidates would be exempted subject to the production of Certificate. Candidates are required to submit separate application form along with requisite fee for applying for different Posts.
4. Names of three references working in senior positions, who can certify the working/ conduct of the candidate.
Advertisement No., Name of the post and Post Code applied for should be clearly mentioned on the Envelope and on the Application Form, failing which the application will not be considered. Applications received after the last date, without proper desired Demand Draft, without attested copies of testimonials and certificates etc. /incomplete applications may be rejected.
Out-station candidates called for interview shall be paid 2nd class sleeper train fare on production of documentary evidence.

Terms and conditions and application form may be downloaded from the website of NBRC (www.nbrc.ac.in) or obtained by post on request from the Administrative Officer, NBRC, Nainwal Mode, Manesar-122050, Haryana. The request for application form should be accompanied by a demand draft for Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of Director, NBRC payable at Gurgaon along with details of the address where the application form is to be sent. In addition the candidates have to send the requisite fee as applicable, alongwith the filled-in application.

Last date for receipt of completed application form is 27th May, 2011.
