Applications are invited from Indian National for the post of Fireman.

Post Name : Fireman

Number of Posts : 11 (Genl-6,OBC-3,SC-1,ST-1)

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Age Limit : 18-25 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Qualification / Physical :
Matriculate
Must be Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified below :
1. Height without shoes : 165 cms
2. Chest : Unexpanded-81.5cms, Expansion-85cms
3. Weight : 50 kgs minimum
Endurance Test :
Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5kgs to distance of 183 metres withing 96 seconds).
Clearing 2.7 metres wide ditch landing on both feet (Long Jump).
Climbing 3 metres vertical rope using Hands & Feet.

Age limit for Ex-serviceman : Service rendered in Army/Navy/Air Force shall be deducted from actual age and resultant age should not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more then 03 years not exceeding 25 yrs.

Application should be addressed to Commandant OD Shakurbasti Delhi - 110056 along with self-addressed envelope of Rs 23 postage stamps. Last date of receipt of application is 21 days including sunday and holidays from the publication of this advertisement in Employment News. The coveriing letter/ envelope should be marked with "Application for the post of Fireman and category--------- otherwise the application will be rejected. No application will be entertained after closing date i.e. 21st day from the date of publication of this advertisement notice.

Documents required to be enclosed with application duly attested by the Gazetted Officer.
(i) Photocopies of Birth, Caste and educational certificate.
(ii) Photocopies of discharge certificate (for ex-serviceman)
(iii) Three copies of Passport size photographs, one of which will be pasted on the application & another will be pasted on acknowledgment card.
