Job Description :
** Considerable knowledge of the modern principles and practices of Engineering.
** To Determine the Feasibility of the Project.
** To determine the Feasibility of the proposed design, performance requirements and manufacturing processes.
** To ensure the implementation of APQP for the Project
** To plan and allocate resources for development.
** To select a Project Team Leader responsible for overseeing the Planning Process.
** To make Cross Functional Team and assign responsibility.
** To ensure effective communication and training to satisfy all customer requirement.
** To study the Product assurance plan.
** To update management at the conclusion of every product quality planning phase.
** Design for Manufacturability and assembly :-Review of Dimensional Tolerances, Performance requirements and Material Handling.
** Production part approval and submission to customer.
** Quality Planning Sign Off and PSW signoff.
** To achieve Customer Satisfaction through delivery and service as per plan.
** Considerable knowledge of the modern principles and practices of Engineering.
** Ability to review, analyzes, and makes recommendations regarding designs, plans, and specifications.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements :
** Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through high school diploma or equivalent.
** Knowledge of office processes, procedures and technology. Experience in supervising team and project activities. Ability to read and interpret technical data.
** Knowledge of machines such as VMC, CNC, Grinding, Milling, Drilling, Broaching, Gear cutting, Shaping, Heat Treatment and Forging is must.
** Knowledge of product development as per APQP is must.
** Knowledge of product development as per TS16949 is must.
** Works requires to willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Working Conditions :
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work requires local travel; work may require evening and weekend work.
