The eligibility conditions are as under :

i) Age : 18-23 years. Relaxation as per Govt order.

ii)Education :
* Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized university / Board with (i) Two years works experience in respective traders.
OR
* One year certificate course from industrial training institute / vocational institute with at least one year experience in the trade.
OR
* Two year diploma from Industrial Training institute in the trade or similar trade.
iii) Physical standard height - 167.5, Chest - 78-83 cms and weight - proportionate to height as per medical standard.Relaxation as per Govt order.

How to Apply :
prescribed application form available in the BSF website www.bsf.nic.in may be dowmloaded and printed out in foolscap plain paper. The application forms duly filled up along with passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted officer with seal be sent to concerned Headquarter under which their State falls.
