Job Description :
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of documentations, that including User Guides, Reference Guides, online help, Release Notes, Catalogues, manuals e.t.c. Documents are varied in different domains of mechanical, electrical, electronics & software.
Person will do analysis of issues and makes systematic /rational judgments based on relevant information.
Need to take the initiative, originate action & commits self to work hard towards goals.
This role is to serve as a Publication Specialist.

Desired Candidate Profile :
** Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Technical writing/illustration for heavy Machinery & industrial equipments.
** Excellent interpretation skills of Engineering drawings and illustrations, ability to imagine different views of a part / assembly.
** Should able to prepare catalogues, user manuals/guides, technical help books, online help documents and engineering reports e.t.c
** Proficiency in English language and documenting skills with a good grasp of technical terminology.
** Hands on experience of tools like Frame Maker, Illustrator, Photo editor, Photo shop, ISO draw, Corel Draw, Adobe packages, PDF editor or any catalogue creation softwares e.t.c
** Hands on experience in MS office products like Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher e.t.c.
** Working closely with Engineers, marketing managers, shop floor technicians etc.
** Ability to write in a simple, concise and accurate manner. Excellent knowledge on the writing styles for technical documents.
** Self-starter and should have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
** Time management and an ability to work under tight deadlines.
** Should reveal good research and documentation skills.
** Quick learner of mechanical, Electrical, Electronics product information.
** Knowledge about flowcharts, workflows, PPT, Animation, Film maker e.tc will a plus.
** Able to demonstrate a verifiable track record for technical writing.
