Description :
The successful candidate will become a member of Technology Pipeline Solutions (TPS) Team, part of Monsanto IT systems, supporting enterprise-level biotech and breeding related software applications. This is a very domain intensive role and will require deep understanding of various concepts in breeding, biotechnology and data base applications.

Job responsibilities :
- Quick grasping of multiple enterprise applications and their usage by scientific community (scientists and breeders) and map their usage requirements to support application
- Analysis and ability to understand business user requests and provide quality-timely resolution
- Day to day interaction with Global teams, and working
working closely with IT teams for better solutions in a collaborative function
Ability to understand TPS organizational as well as processes in Support team, and create operational efficiency

Qualifications :
M.Sc in Agriculture, biotechnology, Lifesciences, preferable with 1-2 research experience. Experience with IT tools and research software applications is very desirable for this role

- 1-2 years of Breeding/Biotech Research experience
- Work experience with scientific data base/ bioinformatics applications is desirable
- Strong oral and written communication skills, collaboration and networking skills across scientific and international teams, self motivated, strong team player

Very desirable :
IT skills such as exposure to queries with SQL; proficiency with MS office suite and working knowledge with automation tools (such as Remedy)
