* The incumbent should have a good experience of working in organic synthesis laboratory.
* The candidate should have experience in synthetic scheme designing, some experience of scaffold designing, understanding structure-activity relationships.
* The candidate should possess excellent judgmental and decision making capabilities in terms of the project chemistry.

Skills Required :
* Thorough knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry, excellent laboratory skills, synthetic route designing skills, a fair knowledge of biology and computational chemistry is preferable.
* The position holder should be able to guide and motivate the associates in the smooth functioning of the project.
