Description – Solar balloon is a viable option to get energy from Sun. These are low energy intensive and material is easily available but the main problem is its low efficiency. The objective of project is to find out the optimum parameters to improve the efficiency.

Title-Study of Solar Chimney
Supervisor- Prof. S.C. Kaushik
Description-Solar chimney is used for ventilation. The solar chimney worked on the natural flow due to buoyancy effect due to which air will be heated by solar energy. It is cost cutting technology for ventilation in building.

EXPERIENCE
National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi (March 2009-July 2009); I had worked as a Project Assistant in Solid State Lighting CSIR Network Project under the supervision of Dr. Amitabh Basu (Scientist G), Division of Electronic Materials. I was involved in the characterization of optical constants and thickness of thin films by spectrometery and ellipsometery.
OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS
- Got 29th rank in entrance exam of M.Phil and PhD-2008 (Panjab University, Chandigarh).
- Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
