Technical Skills :
1) Strong C/C++ programming skills.
2) Good grasp of basic concepts of Operating Systems, Data Structures, Unix Internals programming.

Other Skills :
1) Excellent written and oral communication and client interfacing skills are preferred.
2) Highly motivated individuals with steep learning curve.
3) Capability to learn and perform with minimal supervision.

I. Project title : “Landslide Detectors on railway tracks at any sharp bending in hilly areas using the application of Infra red sensors”

Brief overview of project : The objective of our project is to transmit an alert signal to a train approaching a landslide site on a sharp hair pin bend by the principle of infrared sensors and RF transmitters. To achieve this, the complete design, drawing and fabrication of different parts has been made under guidance of a project guide at Integral Coach Factory, Chennai.

II. Project title : “Hybrid Wind Solar Energy System using a new Rectifier Topology”

Brief overview of project : Our project introduces a new embedded system configuration of the front-end rectifier stage for a hybrid wind/solar energy system with an additional fuel cell backup thus proving to be a prominent environmentally friendly solution to the state of our deteriorating planet

- Underwent training in “Fundamentals of Telecom” held at held at Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Telecom Training Centre, BSNL Chennai from 7 June’10 to 11 June’10.
- Completed a week’s training at THERMAL POWER STATION-I of Neyveli, TN from 16 June’10 to 22 June’10.
- Vocational training done at ICF, Chennai from 2 August’10 to 2 September’10.
