Established in 1975, the Shrijee Group is a privately held manufacturing company. We offer a wide range of products and services such as turnkey sugar factories, towers and substation structures, agricultural equipment, heavy fabrication, sundry galvanizing, wind powered exhaust fans and engineering spares.
We have more than 175 people in our team, including 45 engineers and eleven MBAs. In addition to these, at any given time, we usually have 200‐300 people working on our sites. We also have representatives in Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Iran, Syria and Ecuador.
We are looking for a Quality and Maintenance Engineer for our Chennai factory at Thirumazhisai. The Quality and Maintenance Engineer will report to the DGM ‐ Works.
Responsibilities include:
1. Stage by stage inspection of activities
2. In‐depth inspection of welding quality
3. Stage by stage inspection of machine shop job operation
4. Conducting regular factory machinery maintenance

We are looking for:
1. DME/B.E in Mechanical Engineering
2. At least two to five years of relevant experience
3. Strong MS Office skills
4. Thorough knowledge and execution of NDT/DT Process

Description :
In this project to implement a signaling system that automatically gives indication of the trains’ arrival at the unmanned level crossing by using vibration of the railway track as the parameter. The signaling system consists of a vibration transducer microprocessor and its control and the signal display unit.
This project was approved and granted by the Tamilnadu State council for science and technology- chennai under student project scheme the year 2001-2002.
