NSPL has launched EDGE (Training & Placement Program) at Amritsar, Punjab. The program is targeted at bright and fresh Bachelors in engineering. Program is running in association with many Universities & Colleges.

The 6 months long program will include 8 weeks of exhaustive class-room and practical training conducted by experienced Software Engineers of NSPL, the remaining period of 16 weeks include Live Project Training.

On successful completion of the program the candidate would get a certificate from NSPL and also could land with Job opportunities in the NSPL, affiliates and group companies

Industrial Training in Punjab

The Punjab (India) region is on its way to becoming a major IT centre.The entire Punjab belt is on the threshold of a major socio-economic infrastructural transformation as the area is fast emerging as the largest information technology (IT) and industrial hub in North India.

A state which once ushered in the green revolution, rules the Indian agro-sector and is known for the entrepreneurship of its people, is making giant strides in ICT (Information Communication Technology).

Earlier the scope of IT in Punjab was very little due to which candidates bear heavy training costings and visit for industrial training to cities like Pune, Banglore, Delhi, etc. But now due to the infrastructure and genuine boarding and lodging facilities, etc. IT in Punjab is at its boom. Some of the IT Companies have set up their Training divisions in Punjab.

There are about 32 Engineering Colleges and universities in Punjab. These are few reasons why IT sector growing in Punjab.
