Clinical Relevance of The Study :
- Diaphragmatic breathing exercise, pursed lip breathing exercise, chest expansion exercise has again proved as valuable tool of acute pulmonary rehabilitation in improvement of autonomic control, functional capacity, breathlessness and saturation of oxygen. So results of study recommended that these basic techniques of pulmonary rehabilitation can be continued in use for acute pulmonary rehabilitation purpose. The synergistic effect of RR group has been failed to prove itself in acute phase of pulmonary rehabilitation, so it is recommended from our study that its additive effect of may be effective in acute phase of disease it shows its effect in chronic phase.
- IMT group have been showed improvement in functional capacity variable, so on the basis of this outcome variable it can be suggested from our study the at IMT can be a compulsory part of pulmonary rehabilitation as it helps in improvement of functional capacity thus improving quality of life and reducing morbidity and mortality in acute phase of pulmonary disease.
