I am currently doing a project as a part of my Engineering curriculum on “Remote control system for power transformer onload tapchangers using Bluetooth”.In this project the opration of OLTCs that are provided on the secondaries of power transformers used in electrical power systems are controlled using remote which is a blue tooth remote.Our objective is to overcome the disadvantages of the existing system of underground cables that may be subjected to problems like cable thefts,cable insulation erosion which will ultimately hinder the smooth operation of the tapchangers.
