    PROJECT DETAILS
    Carried out a project as part of the academic curriculum in college for R&D purpose during (Feb 1st to April 30th, 12 weeks ) The topic being “Sugarcane seed cutting mechanism”
    This mechanism was designed and fabricated keeping in mind the difficulties faced by the sugarcane crop growers while extracting the seed buds from the sugarcane with minimum loss in the material i.e sugarcane.
    Around 200 seeds can be extracted using this mechanism.
    The dependency of the farmers on the labour for seed extraction reduces thereby reducing the labour cost and also reducing the wastage in the raw material.
    After the extraction seed buds the same sugarcane can further be used ethanol production or juice extraction etc.
