Job Description :
1. Develop and comply with project/study programming standards and specifications following internal guidelines.
2. Provide programming specifications for analysis datasets, pooled datasets and deliverables in consultation with the statistician.
3. Support quality control and quality audit of deliverables.
4. Provide input as required at all meetings, discussions and activities covering aspects of Statistical Reporting on trial level activities
5. Maintain efficient interfaces with internal and external customers and communicate effectively

Desired Profile :
1. At least 2-4 years experience as a SAS programmer supporting clinical trials
2. Experience using SAS in the analysis and the reporting of pharmaceutical data
3. Working knowledge of database design/structures
4. Expertise with SAS (including SAS macro language)
5. Experience of complex programming Architecture or Application development.

Description :-
Hemorrhoidal disease is a common entity in the general population and in clinical practice. The basic pathological factor in hemorrhoids is the dilation of the anorectal venous plexuses. In the acute bleeding of internal hemorrhoids, one of the pathogenic processes implicated is the stagnation and stasis of blood in the vascular plexuses of the prolapsed anal cushions. Euphorbia prostrata extract is found to have antihemorrhoidal activity and is useful in ameliorating signs and symptoms associated with hemorrhoids.
Study Description :-
A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, multicentre study to assess the efficacy and safety of Euphorbia prostrata Dry Extract tablets in patients of 1o and 2o internal haemorrhoids .

Description:-
Phase III clinical trials were conducted on the drug for Ulcerative Colitis. This is a randomized, multicentre, double blind, parallel group, placebo controlled study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of MEM476. Generate various reports for interim submission. Efficacy and safety of the drug is evaluated by giving the drug twice daily (2.4 g/day) versus giving as a single dose (4.8 g/day) in subjects with acute mild to moderate Ulcerative Colitis.
Responsibilities:-
- Create SAS programs to generate reports on patients who deviate from protocol specifications.
- Editing and validating programs using SAS macros to generate listings and tables for the study reports and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) submissions.
- Generating efficacy and safety reports.
- Data step manipulations for data quality assurance/validation of table, listing and summaries.
- Creating datasets and generating reports using PROC Tab, PROC Report, SAS arrays, PROC SQL and Macros.
