CARREER OBJECTIVE
My academic endeavor is to put in my best efforts to the utmost satisfaction of all the stakeholders, in pursuit of quality education, with a special emphasis on student centered learning.
CAREER SUMMARY
Dr. Mahesh has had a wide range of exposures in his professional career which started in 1977. He started his career as an executive trainee for a leading goods career company in Hyderabad. The Flair for teaching drove him to academic field in the year 1979. His teaching career began as a Junior Lecturer in Commerce, and was promoted to the position of senior lecturer in commerce for the bachelors Degree program in the year 1982. He also had the privilege of teaching CA (Chartered Accountant) foundation course for two years.
He acquired M.Phil in commerce in 1988, on the topic “Absenteeism in Regional workshop, Uppal, a large organization in Hyderabad, in India” Nagpur University, India.
His PhD thesis was on the topic “Problems and Prospects of Handloom Industry in India, A comparative study of the two Apex organizations of the states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in the year 1999” Nagpur university, India.
On completion of his PhD he was promoted to the position of Associate Professor and HOF in Signodia College.
Dr. Mahesh Agnihotri has more than three decades of teaching experience in various accounting subjects. He has taught for different programs including Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and ACCA affiliated to national and international universities. He also has supervised various accounting projects. He was actively involved in designing modules under the validation of various academic programs. He is familiar with Quality standards of Indian, Middle East and U.K. education system. His strong communications skills as author, lecturer, teacher, debater stand reflected in his academic carrier. He strongly believes in innovative & creative teaching strategies and well versed with online teaching & learning environment.
More importantly, he is a recognized supervisor for PhD programs in Singhania and Vinayaka Mission Universities in India.
Later, he joined as a member of the Faculty of Business and Accounting, Majan College, Sultanate of Oman, which is affiliated to the University of Bedfordshire United Kingdom.

4. He had a rare privilege of being the Paper setter for undergraduate examinations for the entire students of Osmania University.
5. Worked as in charge & convener of Admissions Committee (under graduate courses) for thirteen years at signodia college, Hyderabad, India.
6. Worked as advisor for students’ affairs for more than a decade looking after their academic and non-academic requirements.

1. Participated in an International seminar on ‘Education for Peace’ at Chandigarh, India in 1984 organized by World Federation of Teachers’ Union.

3. Participated & presented a paper on “Socio Economic Aspects of Polls” in a national level seminar sponsored by University Grants Commission, Government of India, in the year 1990.
4. Participated & presented a paper on “Education, Youth and Democracy”, in a national level seminar sponsored by University Grants Commission, Government of India in the year1998.
5. Recently presented a paper in an International Seminar on the “International Financial reporting Standards”, organized by Indian Accounting Association, Kerala, India in the year 2010.
At present working on a Research Paper on “Stock market Volatility, A comparative study of Asian Vis-à-vis Gulf markets” to be presented in an international seminar

1. Organized a National Level Seminar on the ‘New Economic Reforms in India’ in year 2001.
2. Organized a symposium on post Budget discussions on Union Budget in the year 1999 involving intellectuals from various industries and renowned academics.
3. Organized a workshop on ‘Salesmanship, Advertising and Public Relations’ for prospective employees in the year 1987.
4. Organized a panel discussion along the research committee on the topic “Global economic downturn” at Majan College, Muscat, Oman.
5. Participated as a Delegate in the Faculty Development Programmes organized by Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.
