PROJECT PROFILES :
1. Springfield Gas Service (CU-Services) Conversion project (USA)
Software’s used : Microstation V7, Oracle 10g
Description : This is related to only conversion of Gas Service Data with respect to landbase and parcel as per specification and rules.
In conversion, we have converted the raster data to vector data with related to information available in non-georeferenced scanned images.
Responsibilities :
1. Layout of gas services from as per provided tiffs and rules.
2. Data attachment for the gas features using the RDBMS (ORACLE 9I)
2. Springfield Gas and Water Vector Migration project (USA)
Software’s used : AutoCAD 2007 and Arcgis 9.1, Arcgis 9.2
Description : It is the systematic representation of the migrated gas and water data with respect to newly captured landbase as per specification and rule.
Responsibilities :
1. Preparation of the necessary requirement for the migration of gas and water data
2. Movement of migrated gas and water features as per new landbase
3. National Fuel Gas Project (USA)
Software’s used : Microstation V7, AutoCAD 2007 and ONBASE (Customer Supplied Software) and
Oracle 10g
Description : This project is related to both the migration and conversion of the Gas and Landbase data as per specification and rules (according to Landbase).
In both migration and conversion, we have converted the Framme data
(Microstation dgn files with frame features) and raster data (Georeferenced operating Map) to vector data with related information available in Non-Georeferenced document set maintained as scanned images in OnBase respectively.
Responsibilities :
1. Layout of gas features as per specifications
2. Data attachment for the gas features using theVB, LISP Programming and database PL/SQL
3. Preparation of .CUI related to AutoCAD 2004, AutoCAD 2007
4. Kitchener (Gas and Water Network), USA
Software’s used : Microstaion V7, Oracle-10g, ArcGis 9.2.
Description : The project involves Conversion and Migration of Gas and Water network (which consist of Network dgn and database) into intelligent graphics of ArcGIS 9.2 the Gas network (Area wise) is received from the client in the format of Dgn and Raster. The Dgn data is migrated and the raster data is converted with help of certain MDL Tool designed by Rolta Based on attributes, the data is transferred to database in accordance to the rule base provided, a CAD software package Micro-station is used in order to establish the connectivity between graphical design file and the data from database. This Intelligent data in DGN and Oracle Format is converted to ArcGIS. Role involved migration and digitize DGN and solve Oracle Errors along with data conversion into ARCGIS.
Duration : From December 2008 to June 2009.
5. Manitoba Hydro Electrical, CANADA.
Software’s used : Smallwood 3.1.
Role : QC
Description : QC of Electrical network for O/H & U/G, First Switching Stations, Sub-Stations, Poles, Transmission towers etc. on the land base which was digitized from the Ikonos images and Survey to capture the above features was done by vendors. Connectivity of O/H conductors & U/G cables was to done with the Circuit Breakers present in the SLD’s (Single Line Diagrams) towards the HT side of the Grids, FSS & S/S.
6. NiSource gas, USA.
Software’s used : Microstation J, Oracle-9i, ArcGis 9.1, Arc SDE9.2.
Role : Production and QC.
Description : The main objective of the project was to collect all features of Gas and Land base like roads, sidewalks, driveways, and hydrographic features like rivers, lakes, ditches, and different utilities features like buildings, poles, hydrant, etc. The landbase features were captured with reference to ortho Image and the gas features were captured from raster images with accordance to its geopostion on Ortho Image. After conversion of all features migration of DGN and Oracle Format (RGMS) data into Arc Sde and correcting all the topology and networking errors in Arc Sde.
GIS IMPLEMENTATION FOR TAX ASSESMENT (GORAKHPUR NAGAR NIGAM)
Software’s used : Geomedia.
Description :
