My areas of interest are oil and gas reservoir characterization through geological field work, geological modeling and interpretation of them. To understand and interpret the physical processes depositional environments from sedimentary structures and litho logical model for the sedimentary basin evolution.
To understand the geological structure in trapping the natural resources and structural interpretation with the help of geological data’s and mapping of subsurface structures with the help of different data’s. To understand the geochemical nature of the rock and in interpretation of them.
In addition to these principal areas of interest I am highly interested in seismic interpretation and modeling assessment. Recently I have worked on integrated interpretation for Kakinada area of Krishna Godavari offshore basin with geological and geophysical data.
Projects Details :
M. Tech. Project.
Studies carry out on Integrated Interpretation For Kakinada Area Of Krishna Godavari Offshore Basin With Geological And Geophysical Data (from July, 2010 to June 2011). This project is underway in the province to identify the hydrocarbon (oil/gas). This work has been done by using Open-Works suite of software, a proprietary of Landmark. In the present work, various horizons were identified using well logs. 3-D seismic data were also used, and in the seismic cross section the horizons were all traced in three dimensional volumes, in the same way the faults were also traced. In this project I learnt that Geological and geophysical aspects of oil and gas exploration and development.
M.Sc. Project :
