OO Analysis and Design using UML
5 years commercial experience developing OO applications with Java
Proficient in the use of SQL and RDBMS â preferably Oracle
J2EE (JSP/servlet, EJB, JDBC)
Websphere experience
Struts & Hibernate frameworks
Ability to adopt formally defined development processes, preferably some experience working in an organisation which uses formal development processes
XML
Exposure to developing large systems in complex environments
Experience in release management and control
creating/managing software baselines
migrating releases from one environment to another
Experience/clear understanding of software configuration management (SCM) principles and experience using SCM tools such as StarTeam, ClearCase or PVCS Dimensions

2 years commercial experience as project tech lead (for teams larger than 8) or architect

8 years commercial experience developing OO applications with Java
Sound understanding of and experience with the J2EE architecture and related technologies

Knowledge and project experience with the Rational Unified Process, or a process based on, or derived from it
Websphere and/or Weblogic and/or Sun One experience
