The Candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 w.p.m for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer

- Deciding the life assured is whether Standard or Sub-standard case and decline/defer the Policy.
- Ensuring Quality check on decisions taken by initial underwriters by picking the cases on random.
- Referring the Profile of Proposer to risk team on cases where fraud suspected.
- Forwarding the Proposals to central underwriting team depending upon the case status.
- Handling Fund Swap and Cancellation cases in co-ordination with the respective branches and head office.
- Have overall exposure of Life Insurance Industry RPC Operations.
