SERVICE PARTICULARS :
i) Started career as Assistant Engineer (Civil) with J&K State PWD (Hydraulic wing) after direct appointment through State Public Service Commission in 1977.
Ii) Has rendered a Service of nearly 34 years so far at various Positions in departments like Power Development Department, Irrigation and Flood control Department ,PHE Department and J&K State Power Development Corporation and for a brief stint in Urban Environmental Engineering Department looking after laying of sewer line along Ali-Jan Road Srinagar and maintenance of Brarinambal Sewerage Treatment Plant at Srinagar.

JOB EXPERIENCE :-
A. Worked as Assistant Engineer Civil with J&K State PWD for 21 Years :-
i) Associated with Survey , Design and Planning of Karnah Hydel power project and Satakna Hydel Power Project and Technical clearance their -of from Central Water Commission / Central Electricity Authority New Delhi.
ii) Has Planned designed and executed major Lift Irrigation scheme Rafiabad High Lift and also worked on Modernization of Zaingir and Babul canal in Irrigation Department Kashmir.
iii) In Power Development Department has constructed a number of Electric Receiving Stations and major Power Grid Stations and also Residential Staff Quarters.
iv) Also worked on Execution of 220 KV Kishanpora – Pampore Transmission line and constructed special transmission line towers to avoid snow avalanches zones on mountainous stretches along the line.

B. Worked as Executive Engineer Civil for 6 Years :-
i) Has headed important PHE divisions like PHE Division Baramulla, Water Works Division Srinagar, Rural Water Supply Division Srinagar and Flood Control Div. Srinagar. Was involved in Planning , Execution and Maintenance of many major and small Water Supply Schemes besides looking after River Protection Works of river Jehlum.

C. Worked as District Superintending Engineer for 18 months :-
i) As Senior Engineer of Districts Kupwara and Baramulla Supervised on- going Water Supply Schemes and Irrigation Schemes in the two Districts..
D.Worked as Chief Engineer for nearly 5 years
i) Headed I&FC Deparment Kashmir and started beautification project of river Jehlum in Srinagar.
ii) Has headed PHE Deparment Kashmir as Chief Engineer and worked out a comprehensive future vision document for water supply to Greater Srinagar City.
iii) Has formulated major water supply scheme under JNNURM programme (10 MGD Tangnar Water Supply and Sukhnag Water supply Scheme and got them cleared and approved from (MOH and UDD) Govt. of India.

iv) In J&K State Power Development Corporation recently has completed the renovation of 105 MW- Lower Jehlum Hydel Power Project, and Upper Sindh Hydel Project Stage 1st (22.6MW) successfully and also restored demaged spill – channel of Upper Sindh Hydel Power Project Stage 2nd putting the long ailing project back on rails.

COURSES AND SEMINARS ATTENDED :-
I) Has attended training courses on Swajaldhara at National Institute of rural Development Hyderabad A. P.
ii) Has attended a number of seminars on Hydro Power at Delhi and Dehradun regarding problems of turbines with :-
a :- M/S Voith-Semines International at New Delhi.
b : -M/S International small Hydro Power Summit at Dehradun Uttaranchal
c :- And also done a short course on Legal side of contract management and many more.

Has rendered service of nearly five years as Chief Engineer in various Engineering Departments of J&K State and has superannuated recently on 31-01-2011 from active Govt. service.
