Experience in Power, Oil & Gas sector Mechanical Construction field of piping and welding as a Mechanical Engineer in Mechanical Engineer-Piping & Welding in Project Management Department for Power, Oil and Gas companies.
Present Position : Erection / QA / Planning / SiteExecution Engineer
Activities includes :
- Co-ordination with Project team members (HO & Site), EPC Contractors and Supporting departments
- Planning & Monitoring of the project progress w.r.t Time & Cost
- Ensures effective coordination of all project execution activities taken up by different functions such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation
- Provides professional direction and guidance to project team in matters related to engineering standards, project specifications, quality etc.
- Assist Project Head in the preparation of project execution schedule and assigning and allocating resources for project to ensure successful completion of project meeting time, quality and cost parameters
- Assists Site Head in mobilization of resources such as manpower, plant & machinery, funds, site facilities etc. for smooth execution of project
- Studies and interprets project specifications (designs/drawings etc.) given by the consultant for awarded contracts and obtains clarifications wherever necessary

- Executed for the Mechanical part of the Fabrication, Erection, Inspection and Commissioning of Generator , HP & LP Turbine, Piping , Rotating machineries and other Auxiliary Plants such as TG building , Compressors ,Cooling water system etc.
- piping layout Responsible for complete engineering of Surface condenser , feed water heaters ,dearators, vaccum pump ,TG auxillaries system , final alignment & making protocol of equipment.
- Responsible for day to day supervision of works ,planning ,scheduling , monitoring of project ,billing of contractor ,quality control and assurance, Co-ordination with various interfaces for high rise structure ,making a erection procedure .
- Anchoring on-site erection & commissioning activities and ensuring completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.
- Installation and commissioning of the heavy equipments as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of Power plant & utilities.

Position : QA/ Planning/Procurment engineer. (Piping & Welding)
Duration : Jun 2006 to march 2009
Responsibility :
- Review of drawings, WPS & PQR as per project specs.
- Review and Verification of fit-up, erection and daily welding reports in Shop .
- Verification of piping fabrication, erection and welding for Alloy Steels like CS, Low Alloy Steel, SS-316, 304, 321, 358, Duplex SS, Monel, Hastalloy, Alloy20, Zecor
- Arrangement of Qualification and certification of welders as per ASME Sec IX
- Review of NDT Reports ( RT, PT ) & Interpretation of RT films
- Witness of various NDT / Destructive like Bend, Tensile, Impact, Hardness, DP Test, Hydro / Pneumatic Tests, Review of Radiographs film.
- Review of Drawings to confirm material / welding procedure / non-destructive testing, preheat and post-weld heat treatment requirements and correctness of identification and traceability to the project specification .
- Ensure the generation of document and quality records required for submission to the customer during various stages & meetings on the project.
- Final Inspection , making final document and handling third party surveyor m/s LRA , M/S BVIS , M/S TUV ,M/S DNV, M/S CHEMPRO , M/S CHEMTEX , M/S IRS ,IBR etc.
- To study the technical specification and data sheets and zero revision drawings to ensure the correctness of QAP
- Compliance of Documents as per the job status and as per the Purchase Order . .Responsible for updating and maintaining calibration of new and in use quality control instruments.
Planning & procurement of capital purchase of New Testing / Quality control Equipments required
- Review the reports of PWHT and Hardness test
- Quality activities on procurement
- Raising Technical Queries(TQ) and resolving as per site requirements
- Identify, communicate & manage changes to project work assigned
- Process piping and welding requirements according to codes and standards
- Co-ordination with procurement and vendor for client inspection at vendor premises,
- Inspection & testing of shop Fabrication Eqpts. such as Towers columns Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Reactors , Tanks & some Instrumentation Items.

QUALIFICATION :
Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering(appered 6 th semester) from RVD University , INDIA
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) from MSBTE , INDIA.
NDT LEVEL 2 IN RT & LPT From QCS.
Certificate Course in AutoCAD (Rel. 14 & 2000) from HABITAT CONSULTANT.
