I am working as a Design Engineer with 1.8 year experience in MICROCON I2I Pvt. Ltd. One of the leading SPM manufacture in bangalore (special purpose machine)
ROLE AND RESPONSABILITY :
- To create and develop new design in 3d modeling.
- Getting new design approval from customer and attending customer complaints/suggestions on time and try to meet their needs at the earliest.
- To develop part drawings and to make 2d drafting and release drawings for manufacturing.
- To prepare bill of materials for the projects.
- To look after the jobs (material) are done as per the drawings and also in time.
- To verify the parts are assembled as per the design and also to make R&D if the machine has any problem and solve it.

PROJECT PROPILE :
Project : BLOCK OF ASSEMBLY AND TESTING MACHINE
Customer : SCHNEIDER Electrical
Software : Catia V5 R17, Auto CAD
Durability : 4 Months.
Description :
Block of assembly and testing machine is special purpose machine. In this machine an electric conveyor system is used which passes over each station. There are nine stations and it is a chained process. Stations consist of Riveting, parts assembly, oil dispensing, grease dispensing, final assembling and testing of block.
In testing station the block is tested to find the Bounce time, Angularity test, Dielectric test and Continuity test. Pneumatic cylinder and plc software are also used in this project.

Project : HYDRAULIC HEAD I.D AND O.D GROOVE POLISHING MACHINE
Customer : STANADYNE
Software : Catia V5 R17, Auto CAD
Durability : 3 Months.
Description :
In this machine the component (hydraulic head) inner diameter and outer groove is to be polished. Hydraulic head is placed in the fixture which is fixed to the electric motor. The inner diameter is polished by I.D brush which is fixed to the moving plate. The I.D brush slides over the guide rod, up and down by using pneumatic cylinder.
The outer groove is polished with the polishing wheel the wheel, is mounted to the air gun. The wheel slides forward at the time of polishing. This machine is automated machine.

Project : STEPPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY AND LOCKING MACHINE
Customer : CONTINENTAL
Software : Catia V5 R17, Auto CAD
Durability : 3 Months.
Description :
Stepper motor assembly machine is a semi automatic and special purpose machine.
In this machine the stepper motor is to be assembled in the PCB. The fixture for this machine is placed on the sliding system for easy changeover of fixture. The stepper motor is pressed to the PCB by using pneumatic system.
LVDT Sensors and colour sensors are also used for sensing the component and height of the stroke the pin pressed.
