2007 till date : Working as a Executive Design Engineer in Larsen & Toubro Limited, India’s Largest Engineering Services Major, in its Design Centre, I have been involved in :-
- Concept designs of naval vessels for Fire/Bilge/Ballast/Fuel Oil systems including Equipment sizing & selection, Piping system calculations of primarily 1600T Corvette, 1750T OPV and 90T IB in accordance with class rules (ABS/LRS/IRS). Successfully taken the designs to preliminary phase where spool drawing & production drawing is focussed
- Evaluation of various softwares (Pipe Net, Pipe Flow Expert, CAE Pipe) for detail design and preparation of comparison report
- Project life-cycle management (PLM) skills
- Design of different Major Fire Fighting systems like : CO2 system, FM-200 system etc. as per classification society including system piping layout.
- Technical bid preparation of Different projects for Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.
- Quotation evaluation and vendor selection for different fire fighting systems and other equipments
